Shelf Winter Health Event 2025
Shelf Winter Health Event: A Celebration of Community, Connection, and Care
Friday 10th October, Coley Church Hall, Shelf
As the colder months draw near, the vibrant Shelf Wellbeing Community is bringing warmth, connection, and inspiration to local residents with the Shelf Winter Health Event, taking place on Friday 10th October at Coley Church Hall, Shelf.
Doors open at 10:30am, with a full day of activities, information, and entertainment designed to uplift, educate, and bring people together. The event officially starts at 11am, with tea, coffee, and cake served throughout the day — a perfect opportunity to meet friends, make new ones, and celebrate the spirit of community.
Visitors can browse a range of local stalls, including:
Handmade blankets and health books from the Shelf Wellbeing Group
Free health checks provided by Bluebird Care Company
Baked goods lovingly made by Millbank School (donations welcome)
Relaxing hand massages (bookable in advance — see flyers)
All proceeds from the day will support Shelf In Bloom 2026, helping to keep our community bright and beautiful.
The event is more than just a gathering — it’s a reminder of how powerful community wellbeing groups can be. They bring people together to support one another, share skills, and improve physical and emotional health in practical, grassroots ways.
